As a brand copywriter, I'm obsessed with deep-diving into each client's personality in order to hone in on their unique brand voice — and ultimately ensure that each and every piece of copy sounds unmistakably them. And when it comes to brand voice, few companies are as bold, outspoken and unique as Poo~Pourri, the original "before-you-go" toilet spray.
Poo~Pourri hired me to bring their one-of-a-kind brand voice to life in the form of weekly horoscopes. For this year-long project, I dreamt up a seemingly near-infinite list of poo-related puns and jokes, then combined them with insights on the current state of the stars from renowned astrologer Phyllis Mitz to create hilarious insights for each of the 1`2 astrological signs.
